Jen Furlong returns with Ashtanga Workshop III: Primary Series/Second Half on September 20th from 2:00-5:00. Cost is $40 for repeat attendees or $45 for single session.
This workshop will bring to life the second half of the primary series, which consists of hip openers, postures to benefit the organs/digestion and postures to release, strengthen and heal the neck. Blankets, blocks and straps will be used. This workshop is appropriate for beginners new to either yoga as a whole or to Ashtanga, and people recovering from or experiencing chronic injury or discomfort. If you are familiar with the Ashtanga primary series, or you are an advanced practitioner desiring to deepen your practice, you will be supported by instructor assists. Best of all, it will be FUN!
This workshop is not for practitioners who cannot yet get up and down off the floor without assistance.
