Jen Furlong, E-200 CYT
Part II: Going With The Flow:
How to practice, what to practice, and how to use your practice to begin quieting the mind for meditation.
Ashtanga yoga is the mother of all modern Western yoga practices. It is most widely known by its powerful therapeutic and healing yoga sequence appropriate for all levels of movement and body condition.
In this intimate 2-part workshop (come for one or both) you will be introduced to the sequence and learn how to move through the postures (asanas) safely and correctly according to your own body’s needs. You will learn about healing from injury as well as how ashtanga is a powerful practice for developing strength, flexibility and endurance. You will practice, so please bring a towel! This workshop has limited enrollment to ensure each student’s success.
