Special Class for March
Ayurveda Head Massage with Anne Petrov
Sunday March 23rd from 6:00-7:30
Join guest teacher Anne Petrov as we learn a traditional head massage, shirabhyanga, which can be done at home between family members, or during a break at work, sitting comfortably in a chair, with or without oil. The head is the centre of the nervous system. A precise contact with different energy points on the head and face relieve headaches, toothaches, stress, and to help alleviate insomnia. Our workshop will give some background and provide a hands-on practice of traditional shirabhyanga. We will train in pairs, discuss the health benefits, and give each other feedback regarding this regenerating experience.
Anne Petrov trained in traditional Indian Ayurvedic massage: Abhyanga, at the Internantional School of Ayurvedic Culture, in Barcelona, Spain. She received training in Ayurvedic nutrition from the Sivananda International Yoga Center in Reith, Austria. 200RYT/500 RYS.
